Weekend Excitement

This is what happened to Mark - only a few hours before the Rehearsal Dinner!

Can you believe this happened in a parking lot!! Mark and Verna went to Wal-mart to get Mums for the tables at the Rehearsal Dinner. Verna was in the store while Mark was circling the parking lot waiting for her. Out of nowhere, he was T-Boned. Mark called Chris for help and we arrived with the ambulance. Mark was taken to the hospital for stitches and xrays, then released. We all made it to the party with no hang ups. I just love this family - it is great how everyone comes together and helps out with no complaints!

We are still praying for Mark. He had to return to the hospital after the weekend, he was just in too much pain to bear. They did a Cat Scan and MRI of his head. The doc told him that his brain got bounced around significantly - but he didn't really see anything major wrong. A small blood vessel leak was noted in the back of his head, but it is not known yet if it was caused by the accident. He has a neurologist appt. at the beginning of October. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he gets better with time!
