Zach's First Shiner

Zach got hit in the eye with a flying race car. His first shiner It really didn't look that bad when we got home from school, but by bedtime it was darkening up.

It is a common occurrence that we fight Zach to take naps or go to bed at night. Today was no different. Usually after we "fight", we shut his door, he cries it out, then we open it talk about it, and he goes to sleep. Not today.

I had shut the door and he got quiet quickly. After a few minutes I decided to check on him. When I opened the door - I found him "dismantling" his bed. The mattress was off and he was working on the sheet. I yelled "Zachary Paul" and immediately had to back out of the room. I was laughing so hard - you should have seen him moving that mattress - it was hilarious. He was crying after I hollered. See pic below. It was just too funny - but of course I couldn't let him know that!
