We took Zach down to Main Street in St. Charles. The shopkeepers all stand at their doorways and pass out candy to the kids. Zach had a really good time - I think he liked digging in his bag the most!

4 Weeks Left??

We are officially 36 weeks along today! I had my Dr. appt. yesterday and all is well. Now I have to start seeing him weekly - that means we are almost at the end! I can't believe that in 4 weeks we will have another boy in our house.

I am hoping like crazy that this one will also be early - so maybe less than 4 weeks! Chris says I am getting my hopes up and jinxing myself - So Be It - I am ready!

PS - We are officially at the point that if I go into labor - the baby is coming, there is no stopping him now!

Zach's Camera

One of Zach's Matchbox cars is a TV reporter's truck. It has all the camera equipment on top of it. Since he has names for all of his cars - we called this one the "Camera Truck" or the "TV Truck". Zach decided it was a camera and started taking pictures of us with it. He usually says "Smile", takes the picture, then checks the back to make sure it was a good one (welcome to the world of digital cameras). Of course, when the video is on, he doesn't say "Smile", maybe next time!

Sisa's Fall Break

Zach got to spend some quality time with his Aunt Sisa (Alecia) this past weekend. She was home for Fall Break. As you can see, he didn't really want to pose for a picture, but he did have a good time visiting with her. We did too!

My Big Boy

Starting Wednesday of this week - Zach refused to go into the 1 yr old room in the morning. He figured out that his new teacher "Miss Lynn" is the one watching over the older children in the morning and now he wants to go in with her.

On Wednesday, he was hesitant, but looked into the big noisy room and spotted Miss Lynn. He stayed with her, waved goodbye and I left. I was later told that he stayed in with the "big kids". On Thursday, he waited at the door until Miss Lynn noticed him, then went right on in. Today, he went in on his own and wouldn't even say goodbye to Mommy :(

He had been having some difficult mornings at drop-off, the teachers would have to peel him from me and he would scream and cry. I guess this is a trade-off. Either crying and fits OR no goodbye. I am learning to get my kiss goodbye when we are getting out of the car, before he gets distracted!

2 Year Old Room

As of this week - Zach is officially moved into the 2-Year Old room at school.

He absolutely loves it in there - the school has been transitioning him for the past couple weeks. On days that I would pick him up and he had been in there, he would tell me all about "the Big Kids".

In the morning at drop off time, all of the younger kids are in the 1-year old room and the 2yrs and up are in the large room until all of the teachers arrive for the day. When I dropped him off on Wed and Thurs - he threw a total fit because he wanted to go to "his classroom - big kids". He just couldn't understand that no one was in there yet.
