No Goodbyes...

Build & Grow Project - at home....

Today, Uncle Andy and Aunt Kelly took Zach up to Lowe's for a Helicopter project. Unfortunately, they were full from online registration and Z wasn't registered. So, they made a project at home instead!

Tent

Zach and I built a tent for him to play in. If only we could keep Owen from destroying it....

St. Louis Zoo

The weather was wonderful today so we decided to go to the Zoo. Apparently we weren't the only ones with the same idea. It took us 45min. to find a parking spot - both pay lots were completely full too! We were so excited to finally find one!


Zach thought it was fun on Dad's shoulders until they got closer to the bird. I think Z was a bit concerned that Bird would get him....

The Giant Tortoises and the Lemurs. Zach loved the monkey house- he quickly picked out King Julian and Maurice! (He didn't care for the smell in here either...) He thought it was great to find all the characters from Madagascar.

We saw a few babies! The camel and the giraffe. The baby giraffe was rubbing necks with its Mama - so cute!

The boys enjoy talking to Nana & G through the computer (Skype). This time Zach didn't want to cooperate. Then Owen got upset with Zach reading "his" book. Looks like they figured it out in the end....

All ready to go see the Fireworks. Too bad it rained on us - Good thing we went the night before....

Who Wants A Haircut?

For some reason, Owen decided he wanted to go first. About halfway through, he started saying "Zachie's turn, Zachie's turn."

Firework Display

Alecia, Zach and I decided to go watch the firework display tonight. We got a little lost in traffic and the casino parking lot. Eventually we found ourselves in the Walgreens parking lot to watch the show. It was great. No crowds and Zach loved it. I couldn't believe he stayed up so late.
