The pictures of the concrete piers were pretty boring - so I tried to take some "Kate-like" photos. Can you tell I was trying to be creative?

Brava to your creativity! Truth be told, though, I got my inspiration for creative shots from BJ. He is always taking "artsy" shots of random things like Coke cans! :-)
Oh - you shouldn't have given BJ the credit! I noticed a coke can and some strawberries on your flickr.
