Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Celebration at Lolli's house in Salem. She cooked up a great meal and we all had a nice time visiting. The boys had fun playing with their new Monster Trucks and Chairs.

Silverware

Owen is experimenting with silverware. He did really well for the first time (I bet he has tried it at school already...). He knew exactly what to do with the fork. He would stab it into his bowl a couple times. If he got lucky he would actually get something. Most times he would stab the fork with the right hand and eat the food with the left hand. It won't take him to long to get it.

We bagged up 20 lawn bags of leaves today! Unfortunately, there will be lots more to come. Zach had a blast "swimming in his pond" of leaves. He also was a big helper in getting them bagged. Owen took a great long nap so we could work.....

Owen's New Furniture

PaPa and Vicki got Owen a really cool dresser and toychest for his birthday. The Chest of drawers came in today. Owen was so happy to hear the news!

Goodbye Smokey

We had to make the difficult decision to find a new home for our 1st Baby, Smokey. With two boys, full time jobs, etc. we were finding it very hard to properly care for her. She wasn't getting the attention she deserved and we just couldn't find the time to give it to her. My Uncle asked if he could have her. Perfect!

We got Smokey back in Kirksville during our last year of school. She lived with Chris in Kville and then came with us to St. Charles when we graduated. She is a wonderful dog with a great personality. We never had any problems with her - it was so hard to say goodbye! But we knew it was for the best, so we did it.....
