Trick Or Treat

We took the boys to Main Street in St. Charles for Trick-or-treating. Zach had a good time, but it was becoming evident that he did not take a nap. We decided to try the Mall (they had trick or treating too), but Zach threw a major fit at a store so we left. Owen enjoyed running everytime he had the chance. He held out his bag a couple times, but that was all. Owen enjoyed the people more than the candy. Mom and Dad enjoyed the candy......

Halloween Party at LLA

Today I left work early and decided to play with the kiddos at their Halloween Party at school. The kids got dressed up and Trick-Or-Treated from each classroom for goodies and candy.

Zach's class all sitting on the carpet. They all smiled and said "Cheese". Then the entire class rushed me to "see the picture"! Did you notice how many Spidermans there are???

Zach's class watching Dora after the Parade (while the teachers cleaned up....)

Carving Our Pumpkin

Getting the Pumpkin ready. Zach would not have anything to do with it. He said it was gross, gooey, and he didn't want to get dirty. Chris thought the smell might make him lose his cookies. Therefore, it was my job to clean out the pumpkin guts.

Owen kept escaping out of the garage while we were working. Once we closed the door, he started messing with newspapers. He wouldn't be Owen, if he wasn't into something!

Zach and I drawing the face on our pumpkin

We gave Papa the honors of doing the carving! We watched while he rocked that Pumpkin!

Our Finished Product!

Pumpkin Patch Time

This year we went back to Daniels Farm in St. Peters to find our pumpkin. They had a straw maze, face painting, animals, tire swings, horsey swings, big slides, another maze made from privacy fencing and lots of photo opportunities!

Owen was quite interested in everything! He even ran into the straw maze with the big kids. Zach got candy corn painted on his face (he is really into candy corn for some reason, maybe Noggin??) They both got in the giant tire swing. Zach loved the horsey swings and this year, there wasn't a rooster to scare Zach. Enjoy the pics:
