Budding Artist

Zach playing with his new Easel from Grandpa&Grandma Urban. (Can you believe she found this at a garage sale for $2 ????) Zach just loves it. She also made him the smock to go with it.

(If anyone is interested in a Smock for their little artist, she is making them to sell!! Let me know!)

The New Nursery

These are the before pics. This room was our bright and cheery orange office. Now the computer desk is downstairs. Chris' parents came to visit for the weekend and we put them to work.

Chris and his dad tore out the old carpeting, paneling, and light fixture. They painted, put up pretty white beadboard, installed a ceiling fan, and put up the wallpaper border. Verna made the curtains. Thanks so much for all of your help - what wonderful grandparents my children have!




And of course, here is Zach, our little helper (at least he thinks he is helping....)

Let the Heartburn Begin

I thought I might get lucky this time around since I haven't had too much trouble with heartburn. When I was pregnant with Zach it started around 4 months and any and everything I ate gave me issues.

This time, I had some problems at the very beginning, but it quickly went away. Well, I think it is back for good. Lucky me - actually lucky Zantac manufacturers!

1st Crush

Well it looks as though Zach has a girlfriend....

I told Chris when we got home yesterday that Zach really has an interest in Lilly (an older girl - she is going to be 3). I have never seen him get so excited when another child showed up to school.

Chris "Zach - who is Lilly?"
Zach (mindlessly stacking veggie cans in the pantry) replies "My girlfriend"

(Chris and I look at each other in shock - did he really just say that??) Pause for a little while...

Chris says "Zach, who is your girlfriend?"
Zach replies "Lilly"
