Trip to the Park

We decided to try a different park this time. The playground was way in the back corner behind the softball fields so we had to trek out to it. The boys had a fabulous time! There was only one other child at the park, and he and Zach ran around and jumped on everything together. They especially enjoyed the swinging bridges!

Owen had to become familiar with the gravel. This was his first time at the playground (awake). Touch it, smell it, and even try to eat it.

Owen loved the swings!

Lowes Build & Grow - Pumpkin Pal

Time for another Lowe's project. This time we made the Pumpkin Pal. Zach and I built the face pieces. There are two of each (set of eyes, nose, mouth) so we can build different faces on the pumpkin. Cute - but we can't wait for the next workshop! We get to make a Semi with a functioning back trailer!

Boys in PJs

Owen before bed in his Little Nemo PJs.

And just for fun - Here is a shot of Zach wearing the same PJs

Zach getting ready for bed. He received a new toy today - the UPS truck (or as he calls it "The Brown Truck". My UPS man gave it to me for him. He just loves it. As you can see, he is sleeping with it tonight and he plans to bring it for ShowNTell at school on Friday.

Owen doesn't walk - He runs!

Watch him go! This kid is really fast for not even being 1 yet..... (I know he looks funny with the shorts and shoes combo - he had jeans on, but it had gotten warm)

Play Time

Playing Nicely:

Playing Not so Nicely: (Actually, Zach was being gentle for horsing around....)

Kids Say......

This morning on the way into Zach's classroom, he stopped and said to H's mom "I have T-Rex underwear on."

He then proceeded (as fast as he said it) to pull his pants down and show her.

All I could do was laugh and I said "Oh sorry, I had a feeling he was going to flash you."

At least he is excited about his underwear. The first couple weeks of potty training were pretty rough and "not easy" to say the least, but Zach has been doing really well with the potty training this past week. He made it three days at school with 0 accidents!

The Writing on the Wall

Okay it is a chalkboard, not a wall. Zach is getting really good at writing his name. We tried to get it on video, but you only get part of it. He didn't feel like it when the camera was on......
